Technologies of Night Vision

At the forefront of the ATN Javelin series is our J169W that can be hand-carried or weapon mounted. It has a powerful 169 lumen halogen lamp and a triple anti-shock spring system. The ATN Javelin J169 flashlight is designed for any kind of environment or circumstance. Compact and durable the J169 is suitable for police, military, EMS, and civilian use.
The J169W can be carried by hand or attached to a weapon by a mount. This device is suitable for SWAT team missions or by users during aggressive sports. The J169W has a modular bezel in front, which can be used as an attacking bezel by Law Enforcement personnel or as a defensive tool. It can also be used as a powerful defensive flashlight. In a dark atmosphere, if an assailant is afflicted by the 169 lumens of the J169W flashlight, they will experience approximately 10 seconds of transient blindness. Law Enforcement personnel can use the high light and bezel as an advantage during close quarter combat.
The J169W is an anti-shock flashlight. It has a shockproof lamp assembly with triple anti-shock springs that can endure the repeated recoil of large caliber weapons. This helps prevent damage to the lamp and prevents the reduction of the lamp’s life.

The FIITS system by ATN combines Image Intensification and Infrared Thermal Imaging technologies for night time low light and adverse weather conditions observation. This is achieved by combining an advanced image intensification system with a thermal imaging system.
The combination of the channels allows the user to take full advantage of both technologies by dichoptically creating a “Fused” image for enhanced night vision observation.
The results are a fused image that allows you the benefits and capabilities of both technologies. You will be able to detect both the Image Intensified Night Vision scene and the Thermal Imaging scene so you will not miss anything that you would have been unable to see by either technology separately.
The FIITS is lightweight, portable, and can be used as a handheld binocular or a dual eye goggle. The separate channels can be disengaged from one another and used individually as either a Night Vision or Thermal imaging monocular.
